The Embassy is authorized to draw up and verify in due form a notary act (power of attorney) by which one or several persons grant another person(s) the power to act on their behalf. Stating the will in the presence of a responsible consular officer is a main prerequisite for drawing up a notary act.
The principal can amend or revoke the power of attorney at any time. The signatures affixed to a respective document revoking the power of attorney are also subject to notarial verification.

Appointment Instructions
The following documents must be submitted at The Embassy of Georgia :
1) Copy of the valid Georgian passport or ID card;
2) 10 USD money order written out to The Embassy of Georgia .
Please note that in order to perform power of attorney, the person who is granting the power to act on his/her behalf and the recipient of such act must be Georgian citizens with valid passports or ID cards.
