A consular officer is authorized to certify the compliance of a copy of the document with the original. It is also possible to certify a copy of the duly certified copy of the document.
The embassy can only perform notary activities with respect to citizens of Georgia or stateless persons with respective status in Georgia.
The service fee for certifying each copy is 3 USD payable by money order written out to the Embassy of Georgia in Washington DC.

The following documents must be submitted at The Embassy of Georgia :
1) Copy of the valid Georgian passport or ID card;
2) 3 USD money order written out to The Embassy of Georgia for each copy;
