Georgia Heritage Days at the World Bank

Georgia Heritage Days highlighted the ancient and rich culture of Georgia at the World Bank Group Headquarters. Georgian Embassy teamed up with the Georgian Staff of the World Bank/IMF Association to represent Georgian culture at the most international venues in Washington DC. WB/IMF staff and visitors had an opportunity to enjoy Georgian food prepared by the Georgian Supra Restaurant and Chef Malkhaz Maisashvili, as well as taste the delightful Georgian wine. Antique Golden Heritage replicas and artisan crafts displayed by the Georgian Arts&Culture Center ხელოვნების საერთაშორისო ცენტრი, while traditional Georgian scarfs Kabalakhi made by nuns and the modern art of well-known Tbilisi-based painter Levan Margiani is represented by the American Friends of Georgia. In addition, the event featured the art and design of D.C.-based Georgian artists – Tea Okropiridze, Ann Tkabladze, Tami Mosulishvili, ZegMade, etc.
