The operation ‘Noble Partner’ concluded a successful ten-day joint military exercise between American, Georgian, British, French and Polish forces in the Republic of Georgia. For the fifth time, Georgia played host to this international assembly of world-class military forces that involved over 2,500 troops.
Defense Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said that the training confirms the “high professionalism and compatibility with NATO” of Georgian forces. He made clear that exercises like Noble Partner 2020 and Agile Spirit planned for 2021 are the building blocks of strategic partnerships between Georgia and its Western allies.
Gharibashvili added that in 2022 Georgia will host the NATO-Georgia military exercise for the third time, which confirms deep cooperation with NATO. The Defense Minister also thanked US Ambassador to Georgia, Amb. Kelly Degnan, for her ongoing support.
