Ambassador David Zalkaliani attended the graduation ceremony of the US National Defense University and congratulated the Georgian graduates Colonel Ioseb Nikoleishvili and Colonel Enri Enukidze on the successful completion of their studies.
The training courses at the US National Defense University (NDU) are conducted within the framework of the US International Military Education and Training (IMET) and highlights a strong bilateral cooperation in the field of defense and security between Georgia and the US, The courses represent the highest level of military education for officers and, in addition to strategic-level education in defense and security, also include a master’s degree program.
საქართველოს ელჩი დავით ზალკალიანი აშშ-ის ეროვნული თავდაცვის უნივერსიტეტის გამოშვების ცერემონიას დაესწრო და ქართველ კურსდამთავრებულებს პოლკოვნიკ იოსებ ნიკოლეიშვილს და პოლკოვნიკ ენრი ენუქიძეს სწავლის წარმატებით დასრულება მიულოცა.
აშშ-ის ეროვნული თავდაცვის უნივერსიტეტის საგანმანათლებლო კურსები საქართველოსა და აშშ-ს შორის თავდაცვის სფეროში ორმხრივი თანამშრომლობის, აშშ-ის “საერთაშორისო სამხედრო განათლებისა და წვრთნის” (International Military Education and Training – IMET) ფარგლებში ხორციელდება. კურსები წარმოადგენს ოფიცერთა სამხედრო განათლების უმაღლეს საფეხურს და თავდაცვისა და უსაფრთხოების სფეროში სტრატეგიული დონის განათლებასთან ერთად მოიცავს ასევე სამეცნიერო სამაგისტრო პროგრამას.
