Speaker of Georgian Parliament Kakha Kuchava interviewed by EURACTIV on Georgia’s changing political culture and European integration. Kakhka Kuchava, the speaker of the parliament of Georgia, told EURACTIV about Georgia’s latest developments since the mediation by Council President Charles Michel, the role of Russia and the new format of the “Associated Trio” between Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova. The speaker also touched on institutionalizing the best European practices and Georgia’s commitment to building a European-style parliamentary republic.

Georgia’s GDP growth rate reaches 44.8% in April 2021 compared to last year. The estimated gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate in April 2021 equaled 44.8% compared to last year’s rate during the pandemic. The Georgian economy is expected to grow by 3.5% in 2021, rebounding with the gradual lifting of the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions and revival of domestic demand, reads the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Outlook 2021.
