Georgian Embassy reaches out to Seattle based businesses
On December 13–15, Charge d’Affaires Giorgi Tsikolia and Counselor Levan Beridze, held the visit to Seattle, WA, with the aim to develop business partnerships between Georgia and the State of Washington.
During the visit, hosted by the Honorary Consul of Georgia to the state of Washington, Robert Walsh, Embassy representatives held the meetings with the representatives of some of the largest corporations of the world, such as Microsoft, Boeing and biggest American electronic commerce and cloud computing company Amazon. Parties discussed future partnership opportunities in technology development, manufacturing, logistics and other sectors that could mutually benefit Georgia and the respective companies.
Charge d’Affaires Giorgi Tsikolia introduced the manufacturing incentives and potential existing in Georgia to the biggest aviation constructor Boeing Company.
In addition, Embassy team discussed partnership opportunities in tourism field with one of the most known cruise lines Holland America Line, owned by Carnival Corporation & plc. The inclusion of Black Sea coastal city Batumi into the cruise routs of the Company were discussed with the representatives of the company. Cooperation prospects in tourism were also discussed with the Seattle Convention Bureau and BeDynamic Inc’ based in Seattle.
The Embassy team continues to promote the business environment and opportunities existing in Georgia to the private sector, technology companies and international trade organizations based in the United States. All parties agreed to follow up with the meetings and possible trips to Georgia in order to enhance the business partnership between our two nations.
