On September 30, the first Consulate General of Georgia in San Francisco will host its virtual opening before its official first day of operations on October 1st, 2020.

Levan Beridze has been appointed the first Consul General of Georgia in San Francisco and will lead the consulate. The San Francisco based consulate will promote Georgian interests in the Western United States and enhance the already strong strategic partnership between the US and Georgia.

The consulate will provide consular services to Georgian citizens living in the west and will serve as a platform for the following states: California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Alaska, Hawaii, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Georgian citizens living in states served by the San Francisco consulate that would like to vote in the 2020 parliamentary elections of Georgia must register with the consulate at this website, by visiting the consulate, or through post.
