#Georgian team participating for the first time at the 2017 FIRST Global Challenge – an international robotics competition for youth in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Theme of the contest is the protection of water resources. First Global Team Georgia, composed of students from Tbilisi based Guivy Zaldastanishvili American Academy, I. Vekua Public School #42 of Physics and Mathematics, and V. Komarovi Public School #199 of Physics and Mathematics, are presenting their invention – water purifier called GIVI. საქართველოს გუნდი პირველად ღებულობს მონაწილეობას რობოტიქსის საერთაშორისო კონკურსზე FIRST Global Challenge, რომლის წლევანდელი თემა არის წყლის რესურსების დაცვა. საქართველოს გუნდმა, რომელიც შედგება გივი ზალდასტანიშვილის სახელობის ამერიკული აკადემიის, ი. ვეკუას სახელობის ფიზიკა-მათემატიკის #42 საჯარო სკოლისა და ვ. კომაროვის სახელობის ფიზიკა-მათემატიკის #199 საჯარო სკოლის მოსწავლეებისგან, კონკურსზე წყლის გამწმენდი რობოტი GIVI წარადგინა. შეჯიბრი გასტანს 18 ივლისის ჩათვლით. წარმატებას ვუსურვებთ ჩვენს გუნდს!!
